I got this in today’s email. I’m wondering if any of you have used it (it’s new) or would consider it instead of the more traditional suggestions for music found in the free curr guide. We continue music appreciation and symphony tickets in highschool. None of our children have pursued an instrument with lessons for long. Our youngest will begin piano soon (Mom taught.)

Speaking of, does it bother you that your dc haven’t pursued lessons for long??  I’m curious because I have a ds who enjoys learning for awhile, then mid-stream, or when he’s gettin’ kind of good OR it gets hard, he wants to quit.  He’s not a quitter by nature…he has accomplished quite a bit in his short life, but it drives me nuts!  I’m thinking the next time he wants to try something that he must use an online/library/free source before I shell out any money to have him later decide he’s not intereted anymore.

I should probably post this on a separate thread, but I saw yours and wanted to see what your thoughts were on the matter.  I try to see it as something that has peaked his interest, then he exhausted his curiosity, and feels satisfied.  But, honestly, I don’t see it that way.  I can’t help it….it drives me nuts…I already said that, I know.

    Thanks in advance.
