    Hi ladies,

I’d like to know if any of you have any recommendations for high school math programs for struggling learners. I’m talking about not doing the traditional algebra/geometry route because the child is unable to grasp the information.

Thanks for any input you can give. 😀

    Hi Cindy!

Have you seen Teaching Textbooks? Its like having a personal tutor for your dc with each and every problem. My 13 yo ds was struggling with math until we started using this. He will definitely use it through highschool. Its expensive but imo no more tears is far worth the cost. 🙂

    Hi Cindy!

I would like to back up what Heather said about Teaching Textbooks. They have been wonderful for our family. My 2 oldest kids are good at math but hate it. My daughter did Algebra 2 last year with them and actually said she enjoyed it. My son did Pre-Algebra with it and he got through the lessons quickly (which is a miracle because he is a daydreamer :-)) and really liked it also. We are using their Pre-Calculus this year for my daughter and will be using it for all our upper grade math from now on.

    Blessings,

    Danielle
