My high schooler has said that she would be interested in doing a First Aid course for one of her electives. Do you think getting CPR and First Aid certified would count as a 1/2 credit? Do you know of any First Aid courses? Any ideas of things to add to certifications to make a course?

Not sure about the credits, but our local Recreation Center, YMCA and other city run rec places offer First Aid/CPR training for youth and adults alike. They also offer them tied into babysitting classes as well.
I was a lifeguard in highschool and my mom did count the training which included lifeguard, first aid, CPR, towards credit, but I don’t remember exactly how she used it.
