Hi ladies! It’s been a really long time, hasn’t it? I’m sorry for my absence; I’ve been so focused on other things that this has taken a back seat. In the four or five months since I’ve been off the forum, my hubby and I decided to wholeheartedly pursue our blog and make it more of a “real” site and not just an online scrapbook for our family memories. It was a big deal to get it up and running, and we’re still working kinks out. I was spending so much time on the computer for that (plus, hubby insisted that our new blog needed Facebook to survive) that I felt like I had to make some computer time concessions elsewhere — thus the forum had to go for a bit.
Anyway, I can’t promise I’m back for good just yet, but I did want to share our blog post from today. Written by my dear husband, it’s addressed to men who put up a fight about eating healthy. I had no idea my husband was such a funny writer (he’s funny in real life, but he doesn’t write much, ya know?), so even if your husband is totally on-board the Real Food bandwagon, you’ll still get a good laugh. I know there have been lots of conversations in years past about struggling with husbands who have a hard time seeing things like we see them with regard to crunchy/granola lifestyles. So, here it is: For Real Food-Resistant Men: a Conversation with My Former Self. We hope you enjoy it and that, at the very least, it makes you chuckle.
We would also be super blessed if you’d check our site often and even leave us comments! I’ve missed you all a great deal!
Great to see you, Lindsey! I keep up with you on the GNOWFGLINS blog. 🙂 Looking forward to checking out your website. Keep us posted here when you can.
Lindsey! Great to see you here again. I read the post last night, it was funny. I love learning new things about my husband. I do miss your views on forum questions though!
