Help…I think I messed up

    Ok, so I may have messed up my dishwasher…

    I have a glass milk bottle that I keep my fabric softener in. The softener, over time, gets gummy and sticks to the side of the bottle, so today I decided to stick it in the dishwasher when I ran my load. Not my greatest idea.

    After two full cycles, there is still a gummy white film over all the dishes in the load. We are taking the dishes out and handwashing them, but I’m afraid I have messed up my dishwasher. Any ideas?

    P.S. I use white vinegar in my Jet Dry dispenser, if that means anything.

    Not sure….

    maybe buy the stuff that is designed to clean the dishWASHER and run that through?

    Lindsey,

    Try white vinegar. If that doesn’t work, try Simple Green cleaner (available in lots of stores.) I think either may work.
