Ladies, I am SO excited to tell you about this, I just picked up from a produce co-op today and it’s a wonderful value!!! http://www.bountifulbaskets.org/ Check out their website to see if they have a location near you. For $15 I got a whole ice chest full of fresh produce – some areas are able to get organic produce for $25. I’m super excited because this is just a co-op so nobody’s making money off of it, which means a GREAT value for the members. I hope it’s helpful to you!
We don’t have bountifulbaskets here, but I am part of a local fruit and veggie co-op. For $23.00 I get a huge bag full of fresh fruits and veggies. We get a new bag every two weeks. This week my bag included, bananas, oranges, grapefruit, strawberries, pears, apples, green beans, brussel sprouts, red onions, carrots, broccoli, romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes and leeks. I always order extra russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, red potatoes and other items because they are great quality and cheap. It has been such a great thing for our family and it is always fresh and tastes good! I feel so grateful to the women who started and run this organization. I live close to St. Louis, Missouri. If anyone lives close to that area, you may want to check out their website to find a location that is close. Their address is http://www.communityhelpingscoop.com
