I am stumped for what to have my 7 yo do for a personal quite/Bible time.  We have just recently started this with him.  He is not a strong reader so I can’t set him free to read.  He started by listening to the stories from Every Story Whispers His name and he would either draw or narrate what he learned.  But now I don’t know what to move to.  Any ideas – audiobooks of some sort are good right now but I want it to be Scripture focused?

    Thanks ladies

The Bible Bee has a great program targeted at different ages – my DD reads just 2 verses and then the small section in the book before they have them do an activity or color a picture.  It correlates to what the rest of the family is learning – this year the study is of 1 John and it’s an excellent expository study that not only teaches about the book you’re learning about, but also HOW to study the Bible for future studies.  You don’t have to participate in the contest to use their materials.  We used the elementary one last school year for my DD8 and her devotional time.

Your Story Hour audiobooks, the bible series. Also Bible.is app or online is awesome. When ready to read, I use the books suggested at higher Up and Further in. I’ll try to post more later when off my phone.
