I think I have a copy of the PDF I can sell to you.  But, you can read it online at Heritage History for free. It’s not the Nothing New edition but it is free.

I’ll check and get back to you.

I don’t have one to sell. The pdf versions are not for resell according to their rules written on the inside cover of the copy I have. My son is reading from Heritage History and for some reason he is preferring that one to the copy I have from Christine Miller.

Thanks. I was hoping someone could just send me the few chapters I needed. So, it looks like the only chapters I will be missing are 120 Ptolemy and Antichous at Jerusalem , 121 Abomination of desolation, 122 The victorious Jews. At this point, I think I’m just going to give up. LOL, We have not enjoyed this book at all. We all dread reading The Story Of The Greeks and no one is retaining any of it. We did like the other living books that were included though, so hopefully they’ve learned a little.

I don’t have any help to offer but wondered what are your kids are. I reviewed the book and didn’t think we would enjoy it either. Mine is 6. Did you use and enjoy the “cousins” books?

At 6 my kids did not enjoy Story of the Greeks, but they did enjoy the “cousins” books.

I did ancients (combined Egypt, Greece & Rome) when my kids were 7, 6 & toddler. I combined because some of the readings were over their heads, but some books they really enjoyed (like Boy of the Pyramids and Cousins books). It worked out really well. Not sure what we will do next time we cycle back through to those time periods 🙂

You can access those chapters for free from the mainlesson.com site or Heritage History site. I realize that it is not the Nothing New version, but you would still have the meat of the end of the book.

ages 10 and 7, grades 4th and 2nd. They were bored, couldn’t remember names of people we read about and were generally uninterested in The Story of the Greeks. Honestly, even I had a hard time remembering what we had read! We did love the cousins books though and enjoyed The boy of the pyramids last year.
I’m worried that The story of Rome that is scheduled next year will be the same

Got it! Thanks for the feedback.  I think I will go ahead and skip it.  I have a few other resources in mind we can use!
