I am having trouble getting my posts to submit.  I must have done something wrong.  I want to add that I would love for some homeschoolers who are experienced at teaching high school the CM way to be able to respond to my quesitons for some wonderful spine books that have worked for you to teach U.S. History at the high school level.  Great suggestions for high school biology are also valued.  Our daughter who is an average to above average student does not enjoy academics  really well, and I want to find resources that are very interesting and engaging in these subject areas that will truly be special and attractive to her.  So I welcome ideas from those of you who are experienced with this and know about wonderful and good resources.  Anyone who can share their experience with using Paul Johnson’s A History of the American People ( I think this might by slighly too advanced for our daughter, just not sure), Notgrass’s Exploring America U.S. History course, Peter Marshall The Light and the Glory series, William Bennett’s U.S. History series of 3 books, King’s Meadow’s American Culture course with Dr. George Grant, or anything thing else for these subjects would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!
