Help Figuring Out What Grade

    I know this seems like a dumb question, but I am struggling to figure out what grade my ds 10 will be going into in August (I know, I am having brain fog today). His birthday is late October. We have always schooled yr. around and I have payed very little attention to what grade he is. He is also dyslexic, so we are at different points in different curriculum. We are however considering some co-op classes and I need to know his grade. My oldest two have always been ahead, and have early birthdays, so I just say they are the youngest age for their grade. Thanks for your help.

    Entering 5th grade.  My DS will be 12 in November (a year older than your son) and he is entering 6th.

    He is turning 11 in October?

    I would say 5th too. My kids are 10 when starting 5th grade and turn 11 sometime during that year of school

    Might depend on when the cutoffs are where you are.  Here he would be grade 6 as the cutoff is dec 31st

    Thank you ladies. Our cut off is Sept. 1, so 5th grade it is.
