Hi. I’m Christie and I’ve been married ~ 13 years and have 3 kids, 22 month dd, 5 ds, and 8 dd. Mine have been home since birth, so we’ve been in school a while now. 🙂
I started on w/ Sonlight and a better early than late philosophy and have morphed to a CM, better at their pace, but with extensive phonics/spelling instruction. I currently use a CM mom’s blog w/ her curriculum plan – higher up and further in.
I have posted a couple of times and find this forum very helpful. Thanks, Christie

Glad to have you here. I have an 8ds, 6dd, 5ds, almost 3dd, and then a 2month ds. So we have two children at the same ages! I have been logging on here for over a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed all the advice, help, and encouragement. The women on here are great sources of wisdom and knowledge. You will be blessed. 😀

I agree with Shanna, this is a wonderful place of encouragment and advice. SCM IS my homeschooling community and I’m not sure what I’d do without it.
