Hello! I’m new…

    Hi everyone! My name is Candace and my husband and I have 3 children that we are homeschooling. I have been a very eclectic homeschooler…and have used bits and pieces of CM over the past 2 years. We do alot of nature study, I have done artist and composer studies, though not very consistently. We also read alot of great books, living books and do Five in a Row as well as other literature based unit studies.

    I have been looking for a CM message board and had not found one…until now. 🙂 I had SCM bookmarked and even used 106 Days of Creation last summer, but didn’t realize there was a forum! Yay!

    Anyway, I thought I would introduce myself and say hi! Here is my blog if anyone wants to know more about me. 🙂

    Do you have to post so many times before you can add a picture to your profile? I could not figure that out…

    There’s a message at the top of the main forum page titled Sticky: Welcome & Guidelines. That post tells how to get your profile picture. We use a third-party service called Gravatar that registers a picture to your e-mail address. It will then also appear on lots of blogs and forums where you use that same e-mail address.

    Hello, Candace! I’m glad you discovered the forum. It has proven invaluable to me during my first year of homeschooling–which was last year. I know you’ll enjoy it!

    Its great to have you here! Everyone here is so helpful and encouraging. Though this is the only group/forum that I belong to – I’m SURE that it’s the best! LOL 🙂

    Hi Candace! I agree with Heather. This is the best board (I have just as much experience as Heather, so I know :)!) and your children are beautiful.

    Welcom Heather.. I was new to this blog and never been to one cause I just didn’t seem to fit with the others. This one I check WAY to many times a day and LOVE it.

    I was also new to CM and SCM has been a blessing, a God send and a HUGE help. Thank you again SCM.
