Health Prayer Request

    Ladies,

    This is my first year doing CM (3 out of 7 kids at home, twin boys, 9 and elder boy 17).

    I have a prayer request. These past 2 weeks I have had asthma which has become progressively worse, to where the doctor prescribed more medicine in the las 24 hours than I have taken in the last 20 years combined! To top it off, DH is going out of town Th/Fr to take DS to college and the. Leaving the week following for his Mum’s 90 BD in Israel for a week. (Prayer would be lovely there, too, as he and DD#2 will be in Efrat, which had seen some shelling in recent weeks from Gaza).

    I really need to be healthy so that I can manage my house, kids and not worry my poor hubby, who is beside himself with concern!!

    Firstly, thank you, ladies, for your prayers! I spent my first full day out of bed today and am getting better bit by bit. My sons were indeed helpful dueling hubby’s absence last week. DH flew to Israel and is currently somewhere midair with DD#2. I know many of you have seen the news today and know that the ceasefire was broken today, and that Hamas shelled over 80 missiles at Israel today. Although I am nervous and worried, I am also strangely at peace. I am sure this is due to the prayers of the faithful. Thank you all, both those who replied, as well as those who lifted us up quietly. Your prayers meant much to me.

    Please take a moment to pray not only for my husband’s and daughter’s safe return next Wednesday, but also to approach God’s throne with requests for a lasting peace in Israel, and an end to terror (whether by Hamas, ISIS or others). It breaks my heart to see such evil in our world. Growing up, I thought with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end to the Cold War that we would be able to focus on a peaceful and godly kingdom on earth. And even though the days sometimes seem dark, I am so thankful that God has already won this battle.
