This is our first year homeschooling and I’m having a hard time choosing a rightstart level.  It’s mainly with my 4th grader.  I’ve looked at some of the chapters in level E and I don’t think she’s ready for that.  I’m wondering if I can do level D for her even in 4th grade? Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

Did you take the placement test on the website?   You can do Level D in any grade….it’s not about grade level as much as it’s about our children understanding the concepts.  But you also don’t want to put her in a level that is too easy or too hard for her.  The placement test should help you decide.

I agree, do the placement test.

and if still not sure, you can call them!

and fwiw, my almost 9yo (“4th grade”) son is starting Level C this year.  I have no concerns about it, as we changed programs last year because he was struggling with place-value.   He is doing great now.
