Has anyone used Language Lessons for Little Ones?

I found Queen Homeschool Supplies’ website through another post here. Has anyone used these with their little ones?
MY new 5 year old is working through the first book. It is very gentle and sweet and filled with lots of lovely pictures she has drawn to go with poems and stories. I love it. I am using this and some phonogram cards for reinforcement.
The phonics books we have seem to be a little intense and I don’t really like them. I feel like a curriculum junkie, though.
I have been trying to find things that make sense, and until now I haven’t. Thank you! I will probably use this instead. I have a lot of “misses” I need to get rid of now, they just weren’t “us” but I wasn’t sure what was until I came here. I feel like a major lightbulb went off. I also think I can incorporate a lot of the CM studies into this (Poetry, Art Study, etc.) from the samples on the website.
