Has anyone adopted from Haiti?

My husband & I are planning to adopt from Haiti & have done some research. The orphanage we have established a relationship with is God’s Littlest Angels, and they use Bethany Christian Services to facilitate their adoptions.  God’s Littlest Angels site is:

There are some very strict requirements for parents wanting to adopt from Haiti that are established by the Hatian government, and I don’t understand the reasoning behind them all, but couples wanting to adopt must be:

  married a minimum of 10 years

  one spouse must be 35 or older and the other at least 27

  cannot have more than 5 children in their family at the time of the adoption (used to be 2 children, but they changed it recently.)
