We are listening to the audio book of Hans Brinker by Mary Mapes Dodge. I had no idea how much geography and Dutch culture the book covered, and am now wishing for a go-along resource. Mostly I’d love to show my kids pictures of the places and works of art described in the book as we progress through the story. I’ve searched online and come across study guides, but those seem geared toward a more academic approach (discussion questions, vocabulary, etc.), whereas I suppose I am looking for more of a “humanities” resource.
Of course I could search for individual pictures online but since it’s such a classic book and appears on many living books lists, I’m thinking surely someone has already compiled a resource like this. Any tips or ideas?
