    We have already finished the handwriting without tears first grade workbook, etc. Should I go ahead and go start the second grade level or try to add in my own lessons that correlate with the handwriting without tears? We also do copywork, etc as part of our writing curriculum. For the ones who use handwriting without tears, what do you do?

    We usually do one book a year and then do copywork and the like the rest of the year.

    Don’t want to go too fast for him! I think we will just do copy work for the remainder of the year too!

    I do the same as Nebby.  I have the CD for presidential penmanship which I print up after they are done to add to it.  Each year I move on to the next level/book.  Here is the link if you are interested for something already put together.

    Thanks for sharing this resource! Didn’t know what else to do besides copy work for the rest of the year! Do your kids like hwot
