I noticed some of you ladies are using “Handwriting Without Tears”.  I never heard of that before and just looked them up on their website.  Two of my children have done cursive only through a curriculum I was using and their print is not very pretty.  They are 9 and 7.  Is it OK to go from cursive to print one year?  I know that it is usually from print to cursive.  My daughter writes some of her letters backwards.  Thanks for the input!!!  Smile

I love HWT.  I feel the program can be used many ways learning print to cursive or any way.  I have a 12 yr old who is a great cursive writer but not a printer.  I feel fine about going back to re-do printing at any point.  I’m sure you’ll like the simplicity of it.

We love HWT also.  I started both of my older boys on it.  I think it would be very easy to go back to review how to write letters with.  Lessons are very short.  I have had to add in some extra copywork practice for my oldest.

We use HWT as well.  My 8yo used it and now my 5yo.  My 5yo likes it:)  HTH

Thanks for all your input!  I am working on what all to buy for next year.  This one will definitely be added to my list!
