Handbook of Nature Study (Botsford) ..which one?

    Wondering how many of you may be familiar with Anna Botsford’s Handbook of Nature, and specifically, the differences (if any) in the publications put out in

    1986 versus 2009 versus 2010 versus 2011 (!!)

    The prices on Amazon versus Book Depository range from $19.97 all the way up to $36! yet I can’t seem to see any remarks on differences in publications.

    (if any of you don’t already know about http://www.bookdepository.com – it is a terrific and very massive online book seller, U.K. based, whose prices are almost always less than Amazon AND they ship FREE — worldwide!)

    Getting back to Botsford’s book and many of the “classic literature” titles I’m slowly working on getting — It is such a mystery to me to figure out, simply, whether there is a major difference in a publication from year to year. I do wish there was an easy solution — if anyone has the answer for me, I’d be very grateful!

    any luck on this one? I just got the 2009 version for a good price, before I figured out there may be differences, and I’m hoping it’ll be adequate.

    Is there a Kindle version that has a searchable index yet? Waiting for that.
