    My husband and I are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary this weekend.  My mom just picked up the kids for us!  I can’t believe we’ve already been married that long!  Yikes.  Anyway, had to share.  I’m on the computer trying to find a cheap, but decent hotel.  My oldest turns 6 on Wednesday, so I wanted to say Happy Birthday to my baby too.  Where does the time go?

    Congratulations, it is wonderful to hear stories like this, when in the media marriage and traditional values are under such threat and so undermined.  We will have have been married 20 years in June, and I don’t know where the time has gone either!  Anyway, find a great hotel, have a wonderful time and enjoy the next 17… hope your future years are filled with joy, health and blessings.  Linda

    Congratulations! My DH and I celebrated our 20th a few months ago. I think time has flown by….until I look at the wedding photos and see my 1980s “big hair!” LOL!

    Thank you guys!  We had a wonderful time.  We stayed at a motel in Austin that was very eclectic and unique, although the name wasn’t (The Austin Motel).  It’s amazing we have been married so long since sometimes I feel like I’m still playing house.  If my wedding photos were digital, I could upload them and show you how big my hair, bow and poof were!  LOL!!
