Are the GP guides being removed from the SCM guides?

I now see it has been changed to Guerber’s book. I am curious why you chose not to use The Story of the Chosen People in module 1?

Right, Shanna. We are switching from the Famous Men books to the Guerber books, edited by Christine Miller, based on feedback from our readers. We are not using The Story of the Chosen People because it is mostly Bible accounts retold, and the majority of module 1 is reading that same history directly from the Bible. So it seemed to duplicate what was already covered in the Bible lessons.
By the way, we will still keep the Famous Men of the Middle Ages and subsequent FM books for older students in those modules. We’re just switching for Greece and Rome.

Thank you for all you and others at SCM have done over the years. Though I have not been on the forums for a long time my love for SCM has continued and I am so thankful for y’all.
