Greece/ Rome

Wow! Its been a long year and I am ready for a fresh start. I am contiplating what tondo for school next year. Just finished up on Egypt and pondering where to go next. I do have a high schooler (10th) next year and wonder how important it is to do all rhe modules in order. He is interested in Rome and not so much Greece. How will that work? Do we really need to teach everything in History? Im not all on board with the gods and things. I really need tomake sure we get to U.S. history before he graduates. If we do Rome are there any good living book you all use not just in the guide? Woukd like to get started on this, we are planning on going year round.
