Great Story about finding Geography Book!

I have been hearing mention of Richard Halliburton’s Complete Book of Marvels lately, so I thought I would check it out.  I noticed it was $20 – $40 on Amazon, but I thought as I was already over my budget for the school year, I would check our library system.  It said one of the libraries had it but it was noted as withdrrawn.  But I decided to ask my librarian anyway to see what exactly withdrawn means.  If the book is no longer available why have it listed as withdrawn? 

So my librarian sent that library an email and a coupe of days later they replied saying that one of the ladies there went and looked for it as it was in their used book sale bin, and she found it!  It had been through three book sales and they would send it to my town for no charge, just being happy that someone wanted it!

I think that is a great story and a true librarian!
