This is a wonderful and true post, we had a pretty easy go of it until my daughter’s got to the last couple of years of school, and then an event rocked our core – and we have been struggling with it ever since. We raised two daughters to be modest, faithful, God loving and kind and who had real values – they still have those things – however an outside force did real damage to our family especially one of my daughters – and it is something from which she may never fully recover – and neither will we. This article is right, and it is right in another way which is not mentioned – we can teach and train our children in the best possible way – but others are not raising their children with morals or right headedness at all – and if one of our precious daughters comes across one of these people, it can rock the very foundation you have built and almost topple it. My daughter has lost a lot of her faith through this, mostly because she wonders how God could let it happen, and at this point she does not have the full understanding that sometimes bad happens, and you have to keep walking the walk to get through it. It took me many years to figure that out lol, but through all the trials and tribulations our family has been through I have learned that faith is everything and God is my rock. So ladies, never give up on doing what is right, take the above article to heart and remember it is not just our own children who can go off the rails, yours may be doing wonderfully and then other people’s children can do something that cause great harm and damage to one of your children in ways you likely cannot imagine and in a way that you cannot forsee – life is not always a walk in the park – bad things can happen, but with the right foundation, I have every reason to believe that all will be well in the end. That is my fervent prayer at least for us and those like us. Thanks for posting this Debbie. Linda
