Great Lakes Nature Study

Hi all;

Towards the end of August we Weare taking a long weekend at my brothers cabin on the shores of Lake Superior.  I was wanting to find a book of nature to read or look over before we go. Does anyone have any suggestions?  I was thinking of something like Among the pond people, but I’ll look look at everything.
