My oldest son just finished reading Wild Animals I Have Known, and loved it so much, he asked me to see if he had written any other books. In my search for more books by this man, I came across a documentary on him from PBS. It’s just under an hour long, and tells the story of how he came to write Wild Animals I Have Known. It was really well done, and nothing objectionable in it (with the exception of possibly one objectionable phrase – however, even though I rewound it 3 times to figure out if that was what he was saying, I wasn’t entirely sure. If it was this objectionable phrase, it is the only time it is used in the documentary.) It would be great to watch as a follow up to the book, as part of a study on conservation, or as a part of a study on wolves. Thought I’d pass it along!
