Great Book Find…Had to share!

Okay, so I was taking the children out to breakfast this morning and checked email first.  I got a library courtesy notice that some books were due back on Monday…including Adam and His Kin by Ruth Beechick which I had waited for through interlibrary loan for 2 months!  I tried to renew but since it is in such high demand, I was unable and we aren’t even halfway through the book yet.  I was bummed thinking I was going to have to buy it new.  Well, before we came home from after breakfast I decided to stop off at a thrift store and check out the book shelf…and what did I find stuffed into the back of some children’s books?…Adam and His Kin by Ruth Beechick almost new for 75 cents!

I almost cried!
