The Grandma’s Attic books are wonderful! Definitely not twaddle! I bought the boxed set for my daughter and enjoyed them as bed time read alouds when she was around 10 or so.

They are filled with true stores about “Grandma’s” growing up years and experiences. I love these books!

I would not consider Grandma’s Attic twaddle at all. I read the series to my DD’s when they were 5 and 8. They LOVED every book and I really enjoyed them too!

I read these when I was young, and my girls actually read my old copies of them. They are great–not twaddle, and your children will really enjoy them!

I’ve never read one, having all boys and all nephews, but little girls in my library eat them up.  They’re always sad when they’ve read them all because there aren’t more.

I read them when I was young and they are wonderful.  Both of my older girls have read them in addition to me reading them to them when they were younger.  They are not twaddle at all worth reading and having in your library.

Grandma’s Attic was the first chapter book my son read all by himself. We recommend them! 🙂

I read aloud to both son and daughter and we all enjoyed them at bedtime.  They were not too expensive for the kindle books.  But after reading two of them, we took a break to read something else for a while.

Please know these books are equally loved by boys.  Two of my read them and they loved them.  I loved them too and plan to keep them in my home library for my future grandbabies.
