Grammar middle school

    I am still not decided on what to do w/grammar for 7th grade!

    We are now doing Grammar Key because I wanted to catch up to do Winter promise LA7. I am having second thoughts.

    The Caught’ya grammar Winter promise uses uses the find the error technic, you need to find errors in a text and correct it.

    I need some opinions here, I know I have read somewhere on this forum advice against such program and would like to know more or if anyone had good experiences w/this kind of program?

    Also those of you who did Grammar key, what do you suggest next?

    We also use AG.

    I haven’t used Grammar Key, but either AG or Our Mother Tongue (over a 2 yr. period using AO’s suggestions) can be started at 7th.

    I just realized the SCM schedule gives a break for grammar in 7th grade and start AG in 8th so instead of rushing to finish Grammar Key in the summer we can do that in the fall and start AG in 8th.

    Maybe continuing ILL and Wordly wise w/that. I would have to figure out how many days a week each.
