We’re working in JAG (Junior Analytical Grammar) and it’s asking the kids to write a sentence using dog as a noun and then again as an adjective. Now it may be that I’ve had a 104 degree fever for a few days and am otherwise feeling like garbage, but I cannot figure out how to do this. Or maybe I never knew.
Please help this tired mama out.

Dog days of summer. Dog run. Dog house. Dog licence. You get the idea.

I think in “dog tired” it would be an adverb since it describes an adjective.
