Grammar for adults

    I have been contacted by an acquaintance who knew we were a homeschooling family!  She wants to learn Grammar and asked if I could recommend any books or curriculum.   Can any of you ladies recommend something that is appropriate for an adult?  I would love to point her in the right direction.

    Analytical Grammar would definitely be appropriate and very thorough/in-depth.

    Another possibility that might warrant consideration is Our Mother Tongue: A Guide to English Grammar. The back cover copy says it is a survey of the major concepts and mentions that it would be good for “adults seeking a brush-up”.

    So depending on how deeply your acquaintance wants to go, there are two options.
