This year we have Giovanni Palestrina on the docket for Music Appreciation. I am unable to find any books on him, and the articles I have found are fairly academic (read: pretty boring for a 12 year old boy….and his mother). Does anyone have any more living and interesting resources for learning about Palestrina and his importance in the music world?
