Get Smart Grammar Revolution

    missceegee… A while back you posted that you were using Get Smart Grammar Revolution. I was wondering if you could share your thoughts now that you have been using it a while? Any pros or cons that you would like to pass on? I know that you gave it great reviews in your original post, but I also know that our opinion can change about a curriculum as we dig into the”meat” of a program. Thanks, Tammy

    We finished it and it is fabulous. All 4 of the kids that I taught with it grasped the material easily and all 4 greatly preferred the presentation of Get Smart to Analytical Grammar which we used the previous year. I intend to use Get Smart with all of my kids when the time comes. All pros and no cons, in my opinion. I do wish they would make something similar for mechanics, but that is not a fault of the grammar itself.

    Misscegee will you be using something for mechanics?  Have you found anything interesting?

    I already own Analytical Grammar and season 3 is mechanics/usage, so we could use that. We did do Jr. Analytical Grammar mechanics last year, but I believe there are some differences between the two. I’m researching some open-go options instead of AG and if I find something I like better, I’ll share it here.

    Cozy Punctuation is an option.  Our public library has it.
