Germany and new to HS

Good morning Ladies,

I am an absolute Newbie to Homeschooling. I’ve heard about it when we lived in the States and thought it was cool, but never thought I would be able to do this. Now it got my attention again and I really like the day of Homeschooling our Kids. I have no idea on how to and whats the best and which curriculum and all those things, but I love looking around and getting informed on which way to go. 🙂

I do have a question though.

I know that it is illegal to HS in Germany. BUT I know that Kids who are here with their families on Military orders don’t apply to the German School law. Now our daughter is german (my husband is her stepfather) and we’re back in Germany until next year, because he got stationed here again. Anyone here who would know if she would be allowed to be homeschooled?
