geography with history (am. and world)

    Hi everyone,

    Looking for a little direction.  For those of you who add some American history alongside the chronological world history, do you also add geography for the American piece?  If so, how detailed do you do this?  Do you simply look at the locations on the map or do you also include map drill?  or do you leave the map drill to the world history piece only? 

    We are using Sonya’s modules for the world history and adding a few things (mostly D’Aulaire books, though I am looking for others) for the American history.

    We used the Audio Memory Geography songs and effortlessly learned all 50 states in no time at all. I also have a couple of puzzles that we played with, but that was it.

    We are now using the audio memory cd along side of SCM module 4 – Europe & Asia.
