Geography Plans & Prayer Request

My son and his family (wife & children ages 4 & 1.5) just started their deputation journey. My son is a fundamental Baptist minister and is planning to start a church in New England. They left CT to raise support and are currently in the Midwest for a month or two. Then they head farther west until next spring. We live in PA and will not see them again until probably April or May. They will be in California over Christmas. We will miss them, but we know they are where they believe God wants them, so we commit them to Him and trust the Lord for His hand of protection. Please pray for their safety as they do much traveling on the busy highways.

My geography idea is to have my daughter do map study, following her brother’s travels in the US. Reading maps is difficult for her, so I am just having her color each state on an outline map, and have her learn the capital of each state. This idea excited me, as it will help me feel connected with my kids/grandkids while they are so far away. This will fit right in with our US geography we are doing with the Prairie Primer this school year. Just wanted to share.
