Galloping the Globe?

I just got this at my homeschool consignment store yesterday. Has anyone here used this? I have so many of the resource books from Five in a Row and Sonlight that it would be really easy to implement. It also has maps that are perfect for SCM-style map study.

I’m thinking of bagging the two cores I am doing in favor of this using books on each child’s level.

I know I should buckle down and do one history period, but my SL cores this year are on world cultures and non western cultures, so it really isn’t following a set time period anyway. I thought GTG might help me organize all my books in a cohesive way.
