    So my 10 year old has been in bed all day with a sore throat, stuffy nose, etc…

    I thought he was asleep, but I guess the boredom was finally getting to him – when his baby brother came in the room just now, he sat up and said, “Will you go ask Abbey to bring me ‘A Tale of Two Cities’??”

    Does a sudden craving for Dickens mean he is on the road to recovery?

    Knew only you guys would get how funny that was to me!

    Ok, so here is where I want to point out that this is my kid who HATED to read 2 years ago. I had to require reading and narration from him every day for a long time! One day, I realized – he is choosing to read!! So that’s probably also why I found his request funny.

    And I really love Dickens, and have read him to my kids since birth, practically, so maybe that’s why he finds comfort in him ;0>.

    Still working on those little brothers of his…
