    Very good article and some great reminders of how easy Nature Study can be.

    I loved the idea of leaving one small portion of yard unmowed. Have to talk to DH about that possibility. We have snakes visit our yard regularly, so we’ll have to watch for them but some of mine would love that anyway! Surprised Momma not so much!

    She also talked about the day and night creatures, and I was just doing this with our two 1st graders this week: listening to the symphony outside in the day and then again that night. We didn’t get to last night b/c it was raining, but we plan to try again tonight.

    And fireflies in the jar: {love} this and our littles have had a great time catching them already.

    This article makes me want to reconsider Pinterest LOL! It would be a great one to clip!
