Fractions…Help!

Okay, I have her now doing copywork for the times tables (how she learns best) and we have been working with the measuring cups and have already had a sort of Aha! moment when she realized it took 2 halves to make 1, 3 thirds to make 1, 4 fourths to make one, and so on.  We are taking a break from the book and camping out here for a while and after I feel like she really gets it we’ll order the book set you recommended.
