I make my own copywork pages for my DD’s. Has anyone found a font that has the lowercase letters written the old-fashioned way? I don’t know the correct term, but I taught them to make lowercase A’s with a circle and a line down the right side. Not like these: a.
It would make things easier for us (me) if I had a font that did what I needed and didn’t have to hand write them!

I remembered one that came with my Microsoft Works and just checked it out…Comic Sans MS font makes the letters in a simple printing style (a is a circle with a line instead of like this “a”). Hopefully you already have that font or another on your pc so you can try it out. HTH

Zaner-Bloser or Zaner-Bloser Simplified is probably the font that you are referring to.
Are you looking for something that you can do for free, or would you be willing to pay for a program? If you don’t mind spending a little bit of money, you should try this program: StartWrite. It has both manuscript and cursive fonts in several different styles. You can create all kinds of copywork pages. I love it! You can get a free sample of their website to see if you like it.

Meagan, I would LOVE to purchase the StartWrite, it looks wonderful. Unfortunately, free is a priority right now. But I’ve got the link saved…I might be able to swing it before it the next one gets to school age.
And on the Comic Sans…how come I never noticed the little a before…duh! I’ve had it all along!
