    The concepts it taught me worked great! the teacher book taught me how to help her with looking at the whole word and understanding groupings and word families. It gave my DD the spark and the confidence she needed.  that being said she got tired of the same routine. I have been using other liturature to teach her and a lot more game based activities to teach her phonics and sight words. the methode was great.  we just needed to move on to somthing new 🙂   I now have a wealth of knowledge for teaching my younger ones too read.  we will just use other books with the methode 🙂 HTH
