One of you lovely ladies posted a website that you used for finding hotels that we’re cheaply priced.  It wasn’t expedia… and of course, I didn’t bookmark it.  Anyone remember what it was (or have another suggestion for finding a hotel for a large family at a somewhat reasonable price for the Canadian side of Niagara Falls?)Laughing

Okay, so this isn’t for hotels, but wanted to put in a plug for VRBO or Homeaway – especially if you have a large family! We have rented homes and condos all over the US and it is much cheaper, more convenient, more private and more fun than staying in a hotel. We would have to rent 2 hotel rooms to accomodate our family, so it is usually a much better deal for us – and we always get something with a kitchen (and a yard) which cuts back on expenses as well. Hope you will check it out!

Oh – didn’t even think to check out VRBO – we used that website to rent an apartment in Florida when we went to Disney last year!

Yep – they have rentals all over the world! Love that site!

If you have a dog, we also love dogvacay.com. You can board your dog with a family locally or near where you are vacationing for about $25 a day. I love it because they aren’t in a cage, they have a yard and someone to love on them ;0).

Of course, you may not have a dog to board, but I always tell people about these two travel tips because it has made travelling so much more fun for our family.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

    Hope
