Figured out the 2013-2014 year

I think I have next year figured out for Delta….

General:  AO Year 3 with my Canadian modifications  (those took a long time to figure out!  Basically it is using

• “Child’s History of the US” by Morris and “Story of Canada” by Marsh instead of This Country of Ours
• “Madeleine Takes Command” instead of “Squanto”
• some stories from “Spirit of Canada” instead of “American Folk Tales”
• adding in “Secret World of Og” by Pierre Burton as a Free Read
• watching a few “Canadian Moments” by Historica

Math: – Continuing RightStart (probably will be ready for Level D)

Spelling: – All About Spelling  – whatever level he is at… (we just started Level 1 recently)

English: – ok, still not sure on this one…. possibly Sheldon’s Primary Language Lessons?

Foreign Language: – German (possibly Learnables?), ASL (lifeprint.com)

Physed: 5BX and YMCA Swim Lessons

Science: besides the AO readings, will use the Pilot version of Dr. Wile’s first elementary science program 

For Echo she will do AO Year 2, with my modifications

Math: – Continuing RightStart (probably will be ready for Level D)

Spelling: – All About Spelling  – whatever level she is at… (we just started Level 1 recently)

Foreign Language: – German (possibly Learnables?), ASL (lifeprint.com)

Physed: XBX and YMCA Swim Lessons

very light – will continue working on writing, will find good books to read together, and she will probably be ready for RightStart Level B.

For All – I’m trying to figure out devotion/scriptures – may do the “Mommy Missionary Training Center” from this blog…
