Field Trips

    Just wanting a suggestion for adding Field Trips in Organizer.  (Ones that aren’t regularily occuring.)   Today we are going to the Symphony!

    We also did things like a Fire Station Tour and Police Museum Tour….

    I like to add those as a Daily Journal Note. It’s quick, easy, and doesn’t have to be scheduled ahead of time.

    Yes, but I don’t see an easy way to add older fieldtrips (like the one in October) – and I would want to be sure they would show up on reports.

    What I did (so far) is create a “Field Trip – Symphony” Resource, with 2 “Trips”.  I then entered in the trips we did.  I scheduled it for Saturdays (in thoery it wouldn’t show up on our daily plan generally…) – even though I have marked them all as done…  I figure if we do another trip to the symphony, that I can edit the resource and add another “trip”, schedule it and put it in. 

    I’ll probably add a couple of other field trip resources.

    Oh, yes, the Daily Journal wouldn’t work for past trips. Your idea sounds good.
