Hello! I am considering switching to SCM next year and my students are middle/high school age. We have used Alveary pretty much since the beginning but I am outsourcing more as the kids get older (primarily math and science) and really want to simplify our time at home, while also having more meaningful time learning together. The SCM history modules are very appealing for that reason. I would love to hear what everyone’s favorite modules are! Particularly because I’m not sure if we’ll get through all of them and I want the ones we choose to be really good and memorable for my kids :).
I haven’t personally used an SCM history module yet, but I have a friend who says her family really enjoyed “A Castle with Many Rooms.”
If you have boys, my boys’ favorite episodes in history, regardless of the source we are using, are Napoleon and World Wars I & II. Any time there are battles, they get very excited!
