Favorite Ipad Games and Apps.??

    Hubby surpriesed me by bringing home an Ipad today!! I had no idea that he’d been saving for it for a while!

    Any suggestions on favorite learning games or other Apps? I’ve heard Stack The States is great. Any others that are worth getting?

    Stack the States, Stack the Countries, Rocket Math. They also love Cake Doodle and Touch Pets Cats for fun. My favorite app is Netflix. :o)

    -Bible.is (dramatized ESV or KJV)

    -Gravity HD

    -Classical Guitar

    -Drawing Pad

    -Catcha HD 

    -USPresidents

    -I *LOVE* my Kindle app

    iBooks is by far my favorite app. There are so many books on the SCM Curriculum Guide that are free downloads in iBooks. Word Warp is also a really fun (and addicting) game. My kids love the dry erase board app.

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions! We tried these and they were all great 🙂 I would have been lost as to what to get if it wasn’t for all the help.

    We are using the iPad more and more. Here are a few of the ones we use regularly…

    Google Earth

    Pages

    2Do (organizer)

    Chore Pad

    Big Oven (recipes)

    Bible.is (dramatized bible)

    Doodle Buddy

    Math Drills

    Moxie (word game)

    Fill the Gap (spelling)

    Montessori Crosswords (spelling)

    Forest Friends(interactive book)

    Tangrams

    We also use the iPad a lot for listening to audio books and watching instructive videos on YouTube.

    There are so many apps to choose from. We usually try the free/lite version first if possible to see if it is something we will use regularly.

    Tinkerbox and speed geography are great.
