My nine-year-old daughter enjoys reading dog stories. Any recommendations? She has recently read Because of Win Dixie and Dash.

We loved Ginger Pye and the sequel Pinky Pye (when the family gets a cat). We also enjoyed Lassie Come-Home as a read-aloud.
