    Hello Everyone!

I hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer.  I was wondering if anyone has any favorite books that are classics that they just love?  I would like to read some more fiction to relax. 🙂  Some of my favorite books are “To Kill a Mockingbird” and “Where the Red Fern Grows” (a young book, but I just LOVE his writing).

    ANY suggestions are welcome!

    Thank you,

    Lorna

Since you like Where the Red Fern Grows, you may like Wilson Rawl’s other book Summer of the Monkeys.

Redeeming love! (They are making a movie!!!)

The Mark of the Lion trilogy (historical fiction, based in gladiator times, the Apostle Paul is a character.)

Both of those are by. Francine Rivers.

I love the Harry Potter books! If you have never read them, they truly are good literature. The story is so good. I know people won’t agree with that but I’ve read the series 2x and the last book 3x.

Quick easy read, The Hunger Games, are these great literature, no. But they do make you think about the state of our government.

I am currently reading. CMs original writings, but it is slow going.

I’m in kind of a rut right now. I just can’t seem to get a book going.

I love the Mark of the Lion series (not a huge fan of the 3rd book though…it has different main characters).  Any of Francine River’s books are great reads!

I love Zane Grey westerns and Robert Louis Stevenson adventures.  Many of these are free on Kindle.

Another favorite is To Have and To Hold by Mary Johnson.  I came across it on the AO reading list and thought it sounded like a good book.  It has a bit of romance and a bit of adventure.
